LIC India has insurance plans for individuals at various stages of their life. These include  Childrens plans like Jeevan Anurag,  Jeevan Kishore, Komal Jeevan and Jeevan Chhaya. The insurance plans for handicapped dependents are Jeevan Aadhar and Jeevan Vishwas. Jeevan Shree and Jeevan Pramukh are plans for high net worth individuals, but the tax benefits may be reduced in future.

The money back policies have duration of  15, 20 and 25 years. Jeevan Bharati is  a special back plan for women.  Whole life policies with a single premium and limited premium are available. The local LIC agent will explain and provide clarifications about the various policies. Some policies like Jeevan Rekha  are closed for sale.
